Antdony`s Diner in Saint Johnsbury

What a great place! Excellent fresh food, including homemade doughnuts and pies. The clam strips were the best we had anywhere. Comfortable and cozy, friendly service.

The most limited menu I've ever seen at a "Diner". Food is ok, little over-priced. You're best off having breakfast there, lunch and dinner are pretty lackluster.

Cozy spot, great parking and the food servings are tasty and large portions. Great service and excellent atmosphere. Recommend this spot to any local or traveler.

Came with my family for lunch for the first time and it was not a good experience at all. We got meatloaf that tasted as if it was dog food meat, green beans that definitely came from a can, and French fries that tasted like frozen French fries that you can buy at the grocery store that had been reheated in a microwave. The kids grilled cheese was half melted and two milkshakes that may as well have just been vanilla ice cream even though we got strawberry and coffee flavors. The gravy that they use was also from a can. For $50 I would have expected something so much different from what we got.Apart from that my water was forgotten, and we were check on once in passing. If I could rate negative stars I would because it doesn’t even deserve one star however I wanted to make sure people know that this is not a mom and pop place with home cooked meals it literally all comes from a can that they probably purchased at the family dollar down the road.

Yummy comfort food, people nice, great location, clean bathrooms. Went back a few times while in the area for family hiker. Nice town & people.

We always make a point to eat in local restaurants when we travel. Anthony’s Diner was no exception and we so enjoyed it! Burgers were tasty and cooked the way we love them, chowder was very good, everything we had we appreciated. Prices were reasonable and justify the 5*. Would recommend anytime!

We stopped by for a quick lunch on our trip. Reviews were good and accurate. The service is fast and friendly. The burgers were great. Fresh ingredients and the burger was well cooked. The fries were a bit floppy but delicious. A little salt and they were just how I liked them. We got the clam chowder. It was delicious as well. Wasn’t super busy for a Saturday lunch. The food came out really fast. Clean and great atmosphere. Very “Diner”. Small town food at its best!

We were in vacation and ate here before heading back home. Was amazing breakfast and a great way to end the vacation. Only negative would've been wishing we had found it sooner so we could've ate here more when we were in the area. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be back! Food and service was amazing!

We were up for a wedding, had not been to that area before.... The lady at the registration desk at the hotel recommending Anthony's.... It was great.... Very cute restaurant, nice and clean, servers were very friendly, price very reasonable, and the food was great.... Would make a trip back up to go there to eat....

This place has had amazing food since I was a kid. Always go in for a woodsman Burger and onion rings!

The best spiced doughnuts, friendly people, and great food! I have a peanut allergy and the ladies working there went above and beyond to make sure that I could enjoy their food. Much appreciated!!!

Had the burger with the house toast, it was crunchy and fantastic. Burger was cooked perfectly. Fries were crispy and hot. The waitress with short blond hair, I've forgotten her name, was just as nice as can be. And had some cherry crumble which was definitely home made. So delicious. I would recommend going. Very cute spot.

Had a horrible experience here. My girlfriend and I went here to have breakfast and were immediately uncomfortable by the way we were treated. We are both people of color and felt that we were treated differently because of that. The waitress seemed unhappy to serve us compared to their other patrons. We asked for water and never received it. The waitress immediately brought water to the table next to us when they asked for water but neglected to bring ours. She also neglected to attend us when we tried to pay and I believe she overcharged us. She was not at all friendly to us, but was friendly to all the other customers. We felt so uncomfortable we rushed to leave after finishing our meal. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome before.
